The President of Vision Africa International, Bishop Dr. Sunday Onuoha, has thanked God for blessing His people with another brand-new year.
Bishop Onuoha in his New Year statement issued to newsmen in Umuahia, urged Abians to remain resilient in their faith in God who takes care of all situations. Charging relevant stakeholders including the presidency, governors and security agencies to intensify efforts to arrest the security challenges facing the country in the interest of peace, Bishop Onuoha expressed optimism that God has a better plan for Nigeria, and Abians in particular.
The Methodist Bishop, and Governorship Candidate of African Democratic Congress, ADC in Abia State, said as Nigeria stands at the precipice of yet another election in 2023, it is the responsibility of Nigerians to elect credible leaders that will pilot the affairs of the country in the next four years.
He therefore, called on all Abians to be alive to their civic duty, by first securing their permanent voters cards, and then reject all forms of illegal action that would perpetuate bad leadership and underdevelopment in our country.
He promised that if elected governor of Abia State come March this year, his 11-point Manifesto tagged “Mission for a New Abia” would ensure a turnaround in the outlook of Abia, as his team is committed to changing the narrative of governance in the State.
He also enjoined Abians to sustain their support for him and other ADC candidates in Abia State, promising not to disappoint the confidence reposed in him.
