Gov Ikpeazu Swears in Commissioners, creates new offices: Min of Documentation and strategic Communications, Establishment and Training, Parastatals ETC.

Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has sworn in the newly 27 appointed commissioners with a charge to foster development in the state.
Governor Ikpeazu stated this during the swearing in ceremony at Michael Okpara Auditorium Umuahia, saying that they were carefully selected to help the state create a better life for Ndi Abia. He promised to complete the existing projects and possibly open new ones.
The governor disclosed that some of the commissioners sent him messages few weeks ago asking for juicy positions, warning that there is nothing like juicy ministry but urged them to make robust contributions for the development of Abia state or be replaced.
He reminded them that any commissioner found wanting would be shown the way out.
Governor Ikpeazu also charged them to  bring their ingenuity to bear and keep in touch with people at the rural areas, emphasizing that he will relay on them to galvanize support for Abia State government.
Meanwhile, the permanent secretary, ministry of justice and solicitor general of Abia State, Barrister Mrs Uzoamaka Ikonne administered oath of allegiance and office to the new commissioners.
Speaking on behalf of the commissioners, the new commissioner for information and stratedy, Barrister Eze Chikamnayo appreciated the governor for bringing them on board and promised not to disappoint him, rather they will join hands to promote the state having seen his desire to leave the state better than he meet it.
Intweracting with National Watch, the new commissioner for documentation and strategic communications Ugochukwu Emezue said he will get in touch with all the projects embarked upon by the state governor to others who do not have the first hand information to know what the governor had done.
Emezuo added that his ministry while communicating what the state have on ground, they will also document them for posterity.

According to him, the new ministry, documentation and strategic communications is his area of specialization and will offer him opportunity to talk more on what the governor has on ground.
